The 138th Canton Fair: A Brief Report

The 138th China Import and Export Fair (Canton Fair) was held in Guangzhou from October 15 to November 4, 2025. Under the theme of innovation, intelligence and green development, it reached a new high in both scale and influence.

Covering 1.55 million square meters with 74,600 booths, the fair attracted more than 32,000 exhibitors, including over 10,000 high-tech and specialized enterprises. Overseas purchasers from 223 countries and regions reached 310,000, up 7.5% year on year, with 69% from Belt and Road countries. The on-site intended export volume stood at $25.65 billion.

Over 4.6 million exhibits were displayed, of which more than 20% were new products, green low-carbon items and products with independent intellectual property rights. A special zone for smart healthcare was introduced for the first time, alongside exhibits of intelligent manufacturing and new energy. Digital tools such as AI translation and smart navigation improved efficiency.

As an important barometer of foreign trade, the fair demonstrated the resilience of China’s foreign trade, boosted industrial upgrading and strengthened international economic and trade cooperation.Yuxiang will participate in the first phase of the Canton Fair, which is from April 15th to 19th.
